Keep the Change opens with 30-year-old David mandated by a judge (after an unfortunate incident with a police officer) to attend a program for adults with special needs at the Manhattan JCC.  Despite the manifestations of his own autism, David labels the other participants "weirdos," and determines to remain aloof - until he meets his match in Sarah, a vivacious dynamo equally determined to bring him out of his shell. Winner of Best US Narrative feature at the Tribeca Film Festival, and cited by Festival jurors for its "world full of vibrant characters often under-represented in cinema" and its "heartwarming, hilarious and consistently surprising reinvention of the New York romantic comedy," Keep the Change is one of a kind, and unforgettable so.

Special Guests:
Brandon Polansky reprised his role as David in the feature film Keep the Change. The story is based on his own early dating experience as observed by director Rachel Israel, originally in a 15-minute, award-winning short, in which Brandon also started.

Samantha Elisofon is an actor, singer, autism ambassador and inaugural cast member of EPIC Players, a neuroinclusive theatre company whose mission is to break down stereotypes and pioneer inclusion in the arts.  Samantha recently appeared at the United Nations' World Autism Awareness Day, the theme of which this year was to empower women and girls on the autism spectrum.

Sponsor: Keep the Change has been generously sponsored by the Krevsky Family in honor of Fannie Krevsky's 102nd birthday.
