Opening Night at the JCC
6:00 dinner; 7:00 screening followed by dessert reception

In Search of Israeli Cuisine takes us on a mouth-watering journey through Israel’s length and breadth, meeting chefs, home cooks, farmers, vintners, and cheese makers -- men, women, Jews, Arabs, Muslims, Christians, Druze - who live to share their passion for the dynamic food scene of which they are a part.  Guiding us on this journey is Israeli-born Michael Solomonov, the delightful, award-winning chef/owner of Zahav in Philadelphia.  Winner: Audience Award, 2016 Cherry Hill Jewish Film Festival and 2016 Palm Beach Jewish Film Festival

BUT WAIT – THERE’S MORE!!!

Opening Night is not just a film this year, or even a film and a speaker.  This year, our feature presentation will be preceded by a delectable Israeli feast created by some of the best cooks in our community, from the recipes of Zahav's Michael Solomonov, and Yotam Ottolenghi, author of the Jerusalem cookbook and Israeli-born owner/chef of the acclaimed London restaurant that bears his name.

SEATING IS LIMITED, SO RESERVE YOUR PLACE NOW!

$36/person for dinner, film, and dessert reception – please note: complimentary tickets will NOT be accepted for this Opening Night event, and we appreciate your understanding.

Film and dessert reception $15/person – but why settle for less than the whole delicious experience?
