Frequently Asked Questions

We understand that our community has many questions during the uncertainty of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) crisis. We will do our best to answer any questions you may have, though please understand that we do not have all the answers at this time. If you have a question that is not answered below, please contact the department head that your question relates to or Jenn.

Will I be charged for membership while the building is closed?

Unless you notify Linda Skulsky, we will continue to bill for membership. During our closure, our JCC team is working hard to provide JCC at Home Virtual programming.  Additionally, your support is critical to ensure we can continue operations and reopen after the crisis.  These funds are helping us support our staff during this time.  If you do not have the capacity to pay, let Linda know and she will freeze dues payments beginning in April and contact you after we re-open.

Building Information

When will the JCC Building re-open?

The JCC building will be closed through at least April 1, and most likely longer. We will re-open once we are permitted and it is safe to do so.

Where can I get more information on the building status and other updates?

You can sign up for our email updates here. You can also visit our COVID-19 Updates page for further information.

Are events going forward as scheduled?

As of March 20, all events at the JCC expecting 10 or more people through April 30th are postponed or cancelled. Please contact the lead event staff for inquiries about individual events.

Will the Mary Poppins Jr. play still be happening?

Yes! We have rescheduled both performances of Mary Poppins Jr. to be held on June 4 and June 7.

What is the status of JCC/Federation Programming?

We are working diligently to continue to provide as much programming as possible through virtual means. Please visit our Virtual Programming page for a weekly schedule of programs.
