Norman Lipsett

 

Norman Lipsett was born in Haverhill, MA in 1922. After marrying Phyllis Javitch, they settled in Harrisburg where he became an honored member of this community while serving as a principal at Giant Food Stores. He displayed exemplary leadership and was the recipient of many awards acknowledging his accomplishments and service at Beth El Temple, UJA, The Silver Academy, and Israel Bonds. A man of vision, determination and boundless energy, Norman was a powerful force in the founding of the Jewish Home and the Ronald McDonald House in Hershey, Pa. Our father always puts family first. His love and devotion serve as a role model for his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren building a deep sense of family connection. A master storyteller, he delights his family with meaningful anecdotes of his life inspiring, all of us to be better people.
