Professor Ilan Troen is a distinguished scholar and historian on Israel who serves as co-editor of the leading journal Israel Studies. Troen has edited two recent works, Zionism in the Twenty-First Century (2014) and Essential Israel: Essays for the Twenty-First Century (2017). A native of Boston, Troen returned last year to his permanent home in Beer-Sheva, Israel.
